Description of the International Rally of 16 Dives
The Blue Hole is located on Long Reef in Belize, you can go down as much as 25 feet to the bottom of the sand patch, giving the eye its distinctive look and color and has some of the most impressive examples of pillar coral in St. Croix, and eels and squid are frequently seen in the warm shallows.
Ambergris Caye is a barrier reef nestled in a 186-mile (300 km) portion of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System. While the Blue Hole should only be dived by those with advanced certification due to its depth, the Belize Barrier Reef is perfect for beginners as there is no significant current over the brilliant coral reefs.
