Description of the Snorkeling Tour with the Whale Shark
The whale shark is fourteen meters long and weighs more than eleven tons. And although when it opens its mouth its size reaches a meter and a half, its titanic figure is not at all threatening since the diet of this species is based on plankton. Its rows of 300 and 350 teeth (which add up to around three thousand in total) serve as a filter through which the plankton passes and remains trapped to be later ingested. In addition, its peaceful nature means that the proximity of the divers is not seen by the whale shark as a threat, allowing you to swim alongside them in complete safety. It should not be forgotten that the whale shark is an endangered species, so a series of rules must be followed to enjoy the activity of diving near the sharks, trying to avoid disturbing it.
