"The gas exchange between your lungs and the air in a scuba tank causes changes in your body that must be monitored and its capacity reviewed by a medical specialist.." -
The ears, nose, throat, and lungs are composed of tissues that will be in direct contact with water pressure. The care you must take to ensure their function adapts to the new underwater environment will be a basic topic you will learn during your Open Water course.
It is a good, if not essential, measure to see a doctor for a routine checkup. This will allow them to determine your condition and, with their consent, ensure that your body does not have any clinical conditions that could be detrimental during the dives that will be part of your course.
Diving has established a record of safety in sports activities in general due to the commitment to caring for the health of its participants, which is why it is increasingly accepted and participated in by the international community.
At the end of your checkup with your doctor, don't forget to give them the questionnaire, which you can download in the forms provided below. The doctor must complete the questionnaire, providing their professional license, as well as their location and phone number, and must sign the document.
We ask that you read the first questionnaire, which is a declaration of responsibilities, carefully, as it confirms that you are aware of the risks involved in diving. But take heart! It's similar to the responsibilities you take on when you drive a car.
To start the registration process, please download each form following the instructions. Send them to instralfa@goldivers.com or you can deliver them directly to your instructor or send them via WhatsApp to 52+5512339165. To download the forms, click on each image. The last form must be completed by the tutor when the student is a minor.
